Here at PlayWorks, we are always looking for Sessional Playworkers to deliver quality Playwork and creative activities at projects and events across Nottingham and the East Midlands, engaging with children and families and promoting the services of PlayWorks.
PlayWorks deliver a number of exciting play projects and we have opportunities to work on Parks and Open Spaces, a Scrap Band Project, and assisting with delivering an Oral History of Play In Nottingham amongst others.
Sessional Playworkers will be required to deliver a variety of creative, active and environmental play opportunities in local communities and at events.
This role will suit those looking for flexible work as we require Playworkers at a variety of times including, after school, weekends, weekdays and school holidays.
As a Sessional Playworker you would be asked to work on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis. We are looking for people who can work flexibly and this opportunity means you can choose the sessions and hours you work to suit your availability.
Relevant experience of working with children is essential.
A level 2 qualification in Playwork or equivalent and a first aid certificate is desirable but not essential. We can offer training as part of your role.
The rate of pay is £8.83 per hour plus £1.28 Annual Leave Allowance per hour.
As safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential, these posts will require an enhanced DBS check.
