Do you want to give back to the community? Do you want to gain experience working with children or a chartiable cause? Do you have free time and want to do something good? If the answer is yes to any of those questions then look no further....

PlayWorks has a range of opportunities available to suit your needs and skills. See below for a snapshot of the roles we are looking to fill and also keep an eye on the News section for details on specific roles we need and interview dates.

PlayWorkers

Here at PlayWorks, we are always looking for Sessional Playworkers to deliver quality Playwork and creative activities at projects and events across Nottingham and the East Midlands, engaging with children and families and promoting the services of PlayWorks.

PlayWorks deliver a number of exciting play projects and we have opportunities to work on Parks and Open Spaces, a Scrap Band Project, and assisting with delivering an Oral History of Play In Nottingham amongst others.

Sessional Playworkers will be required to deliver a variety of creative, active and environmental play opportunities in local communities and at events.

This role will suit those looking for flexible work as we require Playworkers at a variety of times including, after school, weekends, weekdays and school holidays.

As a Sessional Playworker you would be asked to work on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis. We are looking for people who can work flexibly and this opportunity means you can choose the sessions and hours you work to suit your availability.

Relevant experience of working with children is essential.

A level 2 qualification in Playwork or equivalent and a first aid certificate is desirable but not essential. We can offer training as part of your role.

The rate of pay is £8.83 per hour plus £1.28 Annual Leave Allowance per hour.

As safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential, these posts will require an enhanced DBS check.

PlayWorks are passionate about increasing children's access to Play in Nottingham and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.

This is a rolling recruitment but we encourage your early application as we have work available.
